River City Kids!
We are passionate about providing an energetic, faith-filled service that is tailor-made for your kids. While we believe that parents have the responsibility and privilege of teaching their kids how to follow Jesus, we want to come alongside to provide support and encouragement for you in that role. It is our heart that you would be equipped and inspired to model a relationship with Jesus for your kids and teach them all throughout the week about who He is. Together, we believe that your kids will have everything they need to grow in their own relationship with Jesus!

We believe that kids should love going to church. Our dream is to see them develop their own relationship with Jesus at a young age, grow in their faith alongside other kids, and discover how God wants to use their unique gifts and talents to bless others. River City Kids is a place where your kids can flourish.
To encourage deeper friendships between our River City Kids, we encourage you to comes as a family regularly to so they can have the time needed to build those meaningful friendships!
Check-In
At River City Kids, safety is our standard! We require that all kids are registered and checked-in by a parent or guardian. For new or visiting families, we recommend filling out the pre-registration form in the link below for a quick & smooth check-in on your first visit.
River City LITTLES (6 Weeks - 1 Year)
Your child will experience personal care from our well-trained team. We keep our nursery room ready for your little ones with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned between services.
We know babies have specific needs and schedules, so when you bring your child to the classroom, we have an easy-to-use form that you can fill out to let our team know the feeding and sleeping needs your child has. We also take time to love and pray for your child each week.
Our River City Little’s room also hosts our Mother’s Room (a comfortable, private area for feeding your child).
River City MIDS (2s & 3s and 4s - Kindergarten)
Our River City Mids class is divided into two classes, one for 2s & 3s, and one for 4s – Kindergarten.
Our River City Mids classes are designed with your child in mind. From age-appropriate toys and special service elements just for them, our team is ready to care for and have fun with your little one during service.
In preschool and kindergarten, children start to engage more with their church experience. We help them interact with their friends, form relationships with their teachers, and build their faith in God. Each week they will engage with stories, video lessons, small groups, and worship songs that give them Biblical truths.
River City BIGS (1st Grade - 5th Grade)
In River City Bigs, your kiddos will have a ton of fun learning about Jesus and making friends! Most of their time is spent in their Small Group to give them the benefit of a consistent Group Leader and interaction with kids their age. Together, they learn about the Bible and how to have a relationship with God, memorize Scripture, and have fun developing friendships with each other.
•Engaging in Praise and Worship
We invite God’s presence into our lives through praise and worship, and we want your children to grow up experiencing the joy and benefit of worshiping Him.
•Age-Specific Learning
Kids need different things at different ages, and we want to help your child understand and learn God’s Word at the right pace. Each year, they’ll grow by engaging in age-specific learning that is relevant and interesting to them.
•Making Friends in Their Grade Level
God designed us for community, and we want your kids to build healthy relationships with other kids their age. Making friends and growing alongside their peers is an important part of their spiritual growth.
•Memorizing God’s Word
God tells us to hide His Word in our hearts (Psalm 119:11). One of the most important ways we help your children build a biblical foundation for their lives is by filling their minds and hearts with God’s truth through Scripture memorization.

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they’ll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.
Absolutely! Our room environments and lessons are designed to help your child grow with kids in the same age group. We’re passionate about supporting them in each stage of life, so we provide River City Kids classes from 6 weeks-5th grade. When you commit to attending service each week, your child will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces. As kids build relationships with leaders and other children, they gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith.
On your first visit, look for the River City Kids Check-In area.
At Check In, you’ll be welcomed by a River City Kids volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how River City Kids works. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member’s name, your child’s name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We’ll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions!
In River City Kids, safety is one of our highest priorities. That’s why we have a secure check-in system. Upon check-in, you’ll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you’ll show the River City Kids leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from their room.
Every River City kids volunteer leader is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we can either send you a text message or share your child’s identification code on the screen in the auditorium.
